Mount Regis Center
It's never too late to turn your life around
About Mount Regis Center
Located in Salem, Virginia, Mount Regis Center is a fully licensed intensive outpatient program dedicated to providing treatment for alcohol and substance abuse. We placed our facility in a residential setting to create a comfortable atmosphere for all of our patients. To help take control of addiction, we get to the root of underlying emotional and behavioral issues such as grief, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, isolation, codependence, stress, emotional management, conflict resolution, compulsive disorders, guilt, and shame. Our 24/7 intake team is available to new patients seeking treatment, and every patient receives a customized treatment plan.
Our licensed staff members include certified abuse counselors, and we aim to meet treatment needs by getting to know patients on a personal level. We treat addictions to alcohol, prescription drugs, meth, opiates, marijuana, benzodiazepines, cocaine, and amphetamines. Registered nurses and doctors monitor the medical detox we provide.
We offer numerous forms of therapy, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), rational emotive therapy, and focusing on irrational thoughts to minimize distress. Our patients use group therapy to learn healthy coping strategies and relaxation techniques. Individual programs, such as art programming, fitness programs, yoga, nutritional counseling, and spiritual therapy are also available.
Our Young Adult Inpatient Addiction Program targets patients aged 18 to 25 years and instills essential life skills. In this program, young patients experience life skills groups, CBT, self-discipline exercises, equine therapy, ropes course, and standard therapy practices.
Our partial hospitalization programs (day treatments) benefit patients leaving our intensive inpatient treatment. Day treatments provide patients with necessary attention via group and individual therapies and 12-Step programs. Our outpatient addiction program is designed to help patients with substance abuse and/or co-occurring disorders who have commitments and responsibilities that they cannot abandon. We provide a free evaluation, and patients must be sober for at least 72 hours to qualify. To help ensure a life of sobriety, we utilize a mind-body connection to uncover optimal methods for patient recovery.
